Within the word, it is easy to envision devils and hellfire. However, it also reflects the eternal condemnation of self and the subtle mind against itself. It may reflect the emotional trappings within the haunting ghosts of the past. Perhaps the binding tendrils of our deepest longings or deprivations.

DAMNED is an exhibition of those extraordinary artists who know that without darkness, there is no light, that beauty does reside within the repulsive and enlightenment within our darkest hours. This art may be the one true reflection of self that make us balanced within our personal damnations...or possibly it is an expressive visual therapy...or simply a sign that there is amazingly inexplicable inside without comparison.

+ SUBMISSION GUIDELINES +

Artists of all mediums from anywhere in the world are welcome to submit their work to DAMNED. There are no restrictions on genre or content but the more deeply personal and powerfully introspective, the better. Before you submit your artwork, please follow these guidelines:

• IMPORTANT - ONLY THREE (3) SUBMISSIONS are permitted free of charge on this form.  To submit more than 3, it is $3 each additional and you MUST contact us for further instructions.  Any method used to bypass this limit may result in ALL your submissions becoming deleted before review.
• Unfinished work is acceptable, but you must label it as WIP (Work In Progress) and describe what is needed to be completed.  It must also be completed by October 1st.
• Older work is acceptable, but do not resubmit those previously submitted to DAMNED in the past.
• Artwork MUST be of original design by the submitting artist and must NOT be recreations of other artist's work.  Models please do not submit without the artist's permission.

All accepted artists will be required to pay a single $13 registration/processing fee, regardless of the number of pieces selected.  The exhibition retains a 33.3% (1/3) commission on all art sales made during the exhibition (artist retains 66.6% or 2/3).  Accepted artists also receive free admission to all 3 nights of DAMNED.

The deadline is September 13th 2021 and all submitters will receive a notification of our review on September 21st.  Art drop-off/shipping information will be sent within the acceptance email (We also have an in-house art service to help non-local artists save on shipping costs).
